Definitely a hidden gem in Houston! Very nice, classy lounge with several food vendors. A must visit if your in town or want a chill spot to grab breakfast, lunch, bring or dinner. Great happy hour specials!

Nigel was our bartender and made the best drinks, he was hilarious and just an all around cool guy! The food was tasty. I got the boudain balls and the shrimp and grits. I enjoyed both. The sauce with the boudain balls was really nice. My sister in law rated her food a 5.5/10. A nice chill atmosphere. Definitely will go back. My bill was $60 dollars appetizer, dish and two drinks. (Lycee drink)The parking is free for the first two hours. (Must have food receipt in order for it to be free for the first two hours) After that it’s $12.

Great spot to hit prior to a theater show (it’s within a few min walk from the Alley Theater). Several different restaurants, a bar, and ample seating within. The food quality was pretty good! And the drinks were PHENOMENAL. Make sure you have a ride home…

I recently visited Lyric Market on a Sunday evening, hoping to sample some of its culinary delights. Unfortunately, all the food spots were closed, but thankfully Lyric Bar was open and it turned out to be a delightful surprise!

The bartender, Nigel, was an absolute gem - friendly, fast, and attentive. Despite it being his first week, he handled everything with ease. I was unsure what to order but expressed a desire for something refreshing and non-alcoholic, and Nigel delivered with a fantastic mocktail Margarita. It was so good that I ended up having two!

Nigel's expertise shone through as he crafted my drink perfectly without much guidance from me. The service was prompt, and there was hardly any wait.

I'll definitely be returning soon, and I hope Nigel will be behind the bar again. Lyric Bar is the perfect spot for a date night, a casual downtown stroll, or pre-gaming before an event. Plus, the prices are incredibly affordable!

If you're in the area, I highly recommend stopping by Lyric Bar and asking for Nigel. You won't be disappointed!
