Have been going to Happy Family for years for take out and have never been disappointed with the food. The manager is always nice and works hard to make sure that you have everything that you need. Every dish had always been fresh and delicious.

Been coming here for years, and their food and service is consistently good. MUCH better than any of the other Chinese takeout places here in Norman, in my opinion. The people who RUN this location are very nice people too. I always appreciate their quality service when I come in.

Nice small place, clean, and well kept. They take your order at the counter and you are asked how spicy. Staff is friendly and food came out promptly. Food was delivered to my table steaming hot. Spice and flavors were excellent. Nice place to dine in or for takeout.

So sad, thus place used to be so good when the older gentleman was back there cooking. I haven't eaten with them in a while. Today everything was very bland. My garlic chicken was dry and burnt. The red sweet sauce had a funny taste to it,Iike chemical. The seating area looks like it hasn't been cleaned in over a decade, dirty finger prints everywhere. Unfortunately, I don't think I will be going back and I hate that because I'd rather purchase from a small family owned business, but they have lowered their standards way to much.

(Update: I guess I was too forgiving, I won't be ordering from here again. The Chow Mai Fun hit the spot so I ordered it again the next day. I avoided the Lo Mein due to the issue the day before, did not tell them about it because anyone can make a mistake every now and then.

I ordered Spicy Chow Mai Fun, 2 orders one beef and one pork.
I repeated spicy twice and they repeated it back to confirmed it. When they delivered he said they put the spicy on the side, they just threw a bunch of hot sauce packets on top, so they realised they made it wrong and did not bother to remake it.

Mixing in cold hot sauce on the top of your noodles does not taste the same as it being cooked with it. This was $30.00 each for both days.

I added pics below and also a image from their Facebook account that about using their personal delivery drivers, which I did. I am guessing they don't want outside delivery services because they give refunds for wrong or bad orders.)

I used to go here all the time but over the last few years I have been unable to leave the house due to a disability .

I felt like some Chinese food so I got delivery and it's a mixed bag.
The egg rolls and Chow Mai Fun were awesome and they made it spicey like I asked.
The Lo Mein was mushy with noodles stuck together, was not good at all. I most likely will force it down or pick all the meat and veg out and put in on the Chow Mai Fun.

That being said they are as good or better than Panda Garden delivery plus they have their own drivers who are super nice and they gave me a free water bottle. Everyone has bad days when it comes to cooking.

The service is very good and fast, the food is always hot and serving size is well rounded especially at the price point....that's why I wish I liked it better...the food looks good, but is very bland even when I ask for it extra spicy. I still stop here on occasion because the (lady) owner is very nice and is teaching her son to work (he took my order a few times) which I think is awesome and respectable!

We ordered 2 large house Lomein and two pork egg rolls. The noodles were absolutely mushy, runny and just plain disgusting. I called and asked if they changed their recipe and they said no. However, in all the years we ordered the Lomein, the noodles were firmer, had a smoky flavor (was great) but now they were orange and mushy with no smoky flavor. Very disappointed. They have lost our business.
