Fantastic lunch place,
So glad we stopped here! The waitress mistakenly delivered the polenta appetizer to us, but when I tried to bring it back they said to keep it for free, their mistake. These were by far the most delicious tidbits, with a perfectly paired sauce. Shared the BLT which came with a nice ceasar salad. Perfect amount of food for 2.

The hostess was very friendly and nice, she suggested a “buffalo chicken sandwich” and “Dill fries” which was fantastic!

We ordered takeout, the verde pulled pork, buffalo chicken sub and french dip sandwich.

Overall the place had a great indoor and outdoor vibe, but the portions are excessive - these subs are loaded to the brim and more! We could have had less and still been very happy.

Beautiful selection of meats and cheeses. My boyfriend loved the chimichurri steak. All the staff were super friendly, and the bartender made me a delicious non-alcoholic cocktail. I didn’t care for having to order at the bar, but it wasn’t a big deal either; just something to know beforehand.

This market/bar/eatery earned its 5 stars, but not in the way you’d think.

When you walk in, it’s a seat yourself and order at the bar type of place. They give you your drink then and there, but send you with a number and bring your food to you.

It was loud, but I ordered at the bar, per the custom. They brought me my food and unfortunately it was the Pork Tacos. Now, I love pork tacos, but I had ordered the pork chop.

A simple misunderstanding as my order had been misheard. They apologized profusely and offered me a free drink after I told them I’d eat the tacos.

Some may say they get a knock in ratings for this. To me, they made a human error (in truth I should have ordered louder) and made it right.

5 stars.

Also, the tacos were bomb.

I noticed this tree that was cut in half up front & it reminds me of the half cut trees that they got in the ride at E.T at Universal Studios Orlando BUT ALSO, It may be worth mentioning that they also have similarily half cut trees like this in front of DisneyWorld’s Galaxys Edge Star Wars area…so maybe they filmed Star Wars here instead? Idk, lmk.

This is by far our favorite place while in Gainesville. Even my 91 year old mother enjoyed their old style burgers. We enjoyed both the freshness of the soup and salad. They also have a great beer selection which was awesome. The service was excellent and top notch. We hope to be back soon! Keep up the great service and fresh products.

Great place for drinks and charcuterie. They have a good variety of meats and cheeses that all taste delicious. The actual entrees/small plates were a little too salty. In addition, the steak frites, while tasty, had too many fries in proportion to steak. Service was great and they really knew their menu. Decoration and ambiance were also perfect.

Edit: Had to give five stars because they probably have the best burgers in Gainesville. The patty was cooked perfectly medium and juicy, bun was perfectly toasted and didn't get soggy. The fried chicken BLT was a little too salty, but it's hard to beat the prices here.
